Over on OS X Talk, Nigel Meliick asks which is better, "Quicktime/Darwin vs. Windows Media Player"

The response, is fairly pro Darwin OS X solution. The best thing about darwin says Paloris?

"Remember - QTSS doesn't have to host proprietary (Sorensen) encoded Quicktime movies, it can host MPEG video or MP3s or whatever. It's not only the most flexible Streaming Server - it's also the cheapest!"
