Date of Birth: 31 December 1984 Town where born: Warrnambool, Victoria. How did you get into racing? Started with Show Jumping then brother Jarrod involved in racing and am good friend with Craig and Kath Durden. First Winner/Track: Have not had first ride over jumps yet but rode winner at Colac picnics first day riding. Favourite Track (and why): Warrnambool – home track, great course. Best thing about being a jumps rider: The feeling of going at full flight over a fence. Worst thing about being a jumps rider: Not enough races. Best jumper you’ve ridden: The Duce or chiming Door (in trial) Jumper you would like to have ridden: Moon Chase, Marlborough or Plant Hollywood. Outside of racing what are you most passionate about? Family What are your riding career goals? To win a Grand Annual in front of home crowd riding one of my Jarrod, brother’s horses. What will you do after your riding career is over? Jumps Trainer What is the strangest (amusing or serious) experience you’ve ever had in racing? None yet. What, in life, are you most afraid of? Not being able to fulfil my dream of being a successful jumps jockey. Would you like to tell us something about your family (partner, children, parents etc.)? Parents, two brothers and 1 sister live at Yangery near Warrnambool, Victoria. Brother, Jarrod is a Licensed trainer.
