Favourite Track (and why): Sandown. Every horse gets a chance and Warrnambool because it is unique.

Best thing about being a jumps rider: Riding winners

Worst thing about being a jumps rider: No doubt, falling.

Best jumper you’ve ridden: Moon Chase and Marlborough.

Jumper you would like to have ridden: Crisp.

Outside of racing what are you most passionate about?

Family, wife Kathryn and son Tristan and the North Melbourne Football Club.

What are your riding career goals? To be successful.

What will you do after your riding career is over? Contribute to Kathryn's training establishment.

What is the strangest (amusing or serious) experience you’ve ever had in racing?

Serious experience was watching Simon Mills being dragged at Oakbank in 1992. The most amusing watching Charlie Swan (from Ireland) go the wrong way at Sandown.

What, in life, are you most afraid of? Snakes.
