How did you get into racing? My dad rode and I was too heavy to ride on the flat.

First Winner/Track: Symbol's Image/Mt Gambier.

Favourite Track (and why): Flemington because it is "Headquarters" and I ran 2nd in the 1998 Grand National. I also like Oakbank.

Best thing about being a jumps rider: Comradeship and the competition between man and horse as well as the other riders.

Worst thing about being a jumps rider: Not enough cash and races.

Best jumper you’ve ridden: Forceful and any that have won.

Outside of racing what are you most passionate about? Horse breaking.

What will you do after your riding career is over? Not sure.

What, in life, are you most afraid of? The Taxman.
