Social Groups

There are various social groups offered at Junction House to meet diverse interest of members. At the beginning of each outing members decide where to go and what they will do.

Some of the most popular social activities are: going out for dinner, going to the movies, BBQ, dancing to a band, and playing tenpin bowling.

Junction House suggests that members bring about $20.00 to spend for dinner and activities.

Members also collect $2.00 at each outing to put into Member's Bank Account. The money collected for the account are later used by members to subsidise the cost on tickets for special events, such as going to concerts, fun parks, camps, and circuses.

Friday Day Social Group

This group leaves from Junction House and is ideal for participants who do not work on Fridays. This group uses either public transport or the Junction House van.
Time: Friday, 10am-4pm
Place: Meets at Junction House

Souths Juniors Social Group

This group meets and leaves from South Juniors Leagues Club in Kingsford. It is ideal for the group who live near Kingsford area. The Junction House van is used for this group.
Time: Friday, 6pm-10pm
Place: Meet at South Leagues Club

Carrington Social Group

The group leaves from Junction House. This group uses public transport.
Time: Friday, 5:30pm-10pm
Place: Meet at Junction House

Weekend Breaks

Junction House runs a weekend break every few months. The details of up coming break is announced in the newsletter.

The weekend breaks have been held at many places including:

• Katoomba
• Sydney Northern Beaches
• Port Stephens
• Nowra

and even overseas!
