I’m the founder of Steps 4 Success and a
Psychologist with 23 years experience working
with individuals, families, couples and organisations. As a registered Psychologist I’m a member
of the Australian Psychological Society; a founding member of the Society
for Coaching Psychology; a member of the International Positive Psychology
Association and the University of Sydney Coaching & Mentoring
Association. I aim to provide
professional services that assist people to be able to reach their
true potential by assisting you, your family or your Business/organisation
to find more meaning, purpose and direction to enhance life experiences,
work performance and to grow as a person/company in all facets of your
life.
The particular methodology used for change and
growth to occur is a positive psychology framework which is goal directed
and solution focused. This has been found to be highly effective in it’s outcomes when linked to a clients
values. Therapeutically I use a
combination of methodologies to ensure a comprehensive assessment and plan
is completed to meet your individual needs.
Some of the theories and treatment modalities used include Cognitive
Behavioural Therapy (CBT); Interpersonal Therapy (IPT); Acceptance &
Commitment Therapy (ACT); Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT);
Mindfulness; Meditation; Breathing and Relaxation combined with a solution
focused goal directed Positive Psychology Approach – incorporating a
Collaborative Strategic Approach to change management within the system.
We work with individuals across the life span,
families and couples. I provides
lifestyle, business and executive coaching and have extensive experience in
training, mediation and professional supervision, staff development,
casework and programming. I have a
particular interest in the coaching area with staff support and team
building, communication, leadership and assisting the development of a
successful work/life balance to prevent burnout. I am enthusiastic and passionate about my
work and believe that together we can work towards individual, relational
and organisational change and growth to live a more meaningful and
purposeful life that gives those interested a healthier sense of well-being
and functioning.
