Checking the film for deterioration. |
- All films are visually inspected for damage and repair requirements before transfer.
- All films are respliced as required. Resplicing is part of our routine transfer service.
- Your films can be chemically cleaned as an extra service.
- All care is taken to transfer films at the correct or nearest correct projection speeds
so that realistic motion is maintained. Our telecine equipment achieves flicker free transfers.
- We never transfer with dirty film gates, hair in the gate, or gate framing errors. All work is done with underscan monitors showing the operator the complete video frame.
- All films are returned to the client in restored condition.
- Previewing facilities are available for your use. We have 16mm, 9.5mm, and 8mm viewers available.
- 35mm slides are cleaned before transfer.
- Colour correction is an included service.

Perf-fix repairs
- Perf-fix repairs damaged perforations in 16mm film without affecting the projected image.
- Perf-fix prevents further damage to repaired areas during the film's transfer process.
- Splicing out of damaged sections is no longer necessary and almost all footage is recoverable for transfer.
