Kavin Windsor

Experience

Kavin started sailing as a teenager on his father's boat on the Parramatta River in Sydney, went on to sail a Laser dinghy around Sydney Harbour (just for fun). After several years break, Kavin sailed competetively with the Navy while posted to HMAS Cerberus as well as going on to achieve his YA Skippers tickets.

After 4 years at Cerberus, Kavin had completed in excess of 7000nm, as crew and skipper on various yachts, both on inshore waters and in and around Bass Strait.

Completing his Coxswain Course in late 2007, he is building up the 'sea time' to enable him to undertake the MSV Oral examination in order to gain his coxswain's ticket.
