40s Walkers North - UK Sister Club

From the 40s Walkers North Home Page
40s Walkers North is a very friendly group, set up for people who enjoy walking, a bit of scrambling, but definitely socialising in the fantastic countryside in "the north".

Whilst the group is aimed at people in their 40's & 50's, we have no restrictions and we have members of all ages and from all parts of the UK.

The group was formed in early May 2003 and since then has gone on from strength to strength, with events organised every weekend, whether it be a day walk or a weekend away. We have had well over 200 walks or events to date and our walks programme for this year offers a fantastic choice, which is being added to all the time.

We try to vary the walks to suit as many as possible and because our members are so widespread we are able to offer walks in many different parts of the country. We regularly visit the Lakes, The Dales, The Peak, Snowdonia but try to get to as many other "quieter" places as possible.

If you're interested please read the Membership page on the left and apply to join by clicking on the "JOIN NOW" button top left.

Please only apply if you're serious about joining in AND having a good laugh..............AND the odd beer afterwards!
