Photo of Claire	CLAIRE Claire was born in August 1986. She lives in Perth, W.A. with her 19yo big brother and sisters aged 16 and 11 (none of whom have epilepsy.) Claire started the ketogenic diet in October 2001.
Claire's mum has provided some background information about Claire and will continue to provide updates as she continues with the keto diet. "Claire is 15 years old and has had seizures since she was 9. Her seizure types are complex partial seizures, sometimes with secondary generalisation. She also has ESES which means she has continuous spikes and waves during 85% of sleep. Claire has tried many AED's to try to control her seizures with little success and many side effects. In October 2001 she commenced the ketogenic diet. Although not seizure free yet, she has experienced a great reduction in seizures. We hope that fine tuning will enable her to become med and seizure free."
