The Bear Byte

I accidently stumbled upon 'The Bear Byte' website on the 8th October. I was looking for herbal information and found a lot of info on how to harvest herbs, the uses of herbs and even how to use herbs on your pets.  This website is built by a native American Indian 'E.T.Bear' - he has made a very tidy, user friendly website that contains detailed information about his culture that he loves & is proud of.  You will find health info, traditional recipes to try and short notes/poems that are original and beautiful.  Take a look at Bear Byte today!

The AFU & Urban Legends Archive

Ever wondered if those "Cry for Help" emails that you get are true.  You know, like the one with the beautiful picture of the baby who is dying of some sort of disease that has no cure, and attached is a note from her father pleading with you to forward the email off to at least 10 people to spread the word so that some huge well known company can pay him 5 cents for every email forwarded.  Then Urban Legends can tell you if it is a hoax or not, plus there is also some way out legends for you to read.  I get lost in this site sometimes just reading through the latest urban legends.

Time and Date.com

I use this site to print out a yearly or monthly calendar with the phases of the moon - and it's FREE!  You can customise your calendar to suit your needs and choose the way it looks for the final print out.  These are actually great to print out on nice paper and give to friends or family.

Find Midis

I usually pick up some free midis here and add them to my incredimail sounds, to use in my emails.  There's a wide variety of music including Classical, Rock, Pop, Funk and R&B.  I picked up some midis of Eminem, Tupac, Destiny's Child and J-Lo.  Oh!  Did I mention that you'll be stuck in this site for ages just downloading tonnes of midis - Make sure you have lots of time to spare.  The Midis download very, very fast but picking which one to download first is time consuming.

Moccona Moonlight Cinema

If you're from Adelaide, Sydney or Melbourne and you're looking to do something different with your friends, then this website is for you to check out.  It's a different way of experiencing a night out at the movies. If you're in Sydney, you can watch a film under the stars at Centennial Park.  If you're in Melbourne, you can watch your favourite flick at The Royal Botanical Gardens or if you're in Adelaide like myself - you can lay back in the Adelaide Botanical Gardens and enjoy your favourite movie.  REMEMBER - when you do go, pack something nice to eat, some bubbly, a deck chair or picnic blanket, maybe a cushion or two, and take along some great company and enjoy the atmosphere.  Hey, you may not even have to call your friends to ask them either, they've got an e-card invitation section where you can let them know about your plans, so don't miss out on a great night out with friends.  You'll thank me for letting you know about this one.
