SWEETHEART WALTZ

This modern sequence dance is very simple and can be learnt or taught in minutes.
The Sweetheart Waltz has been around for many years & is still very popular in many areas.
It is an ideal dance for 'Seniors' and beginners as there are no complicated steps.
This dance benefits by increasing the tempo from 30 bpm to 31-32 bpm




Sweetheart Waltz Short Script

Step point - step point - step side close - back side close - REPEAT - reverse waltz square
- walk 3 to check - back 3 - side hover (or oversway) to whisk - step side close to start over.

Notes
Men point straight forward & ladies point straight back.
Reverse waltz square is the same as in the Emmerdale.



The New Vogue Waltz
This modern waltz has become a popular mainstream dance in a very short time.
It is now danced in almost every area of Australia.
