All hire is for overnight only
A cleaning charge will apply if equipment is returned dirty.
A bond is required on each paid booking.
No booking deposit is required.
All bookings must be paid for in full seven days prior to your delivery.
All bookings for December and January must be paid in full at the time of booking.
There are some Hire Items that will incur Extra Delivery, this does not apply to all items.

Below are the Standard Conditions of Hire.
Please Read Carefully Conditions Of Hire
1. In these conditions “Owner” means Books ‘n’ Party and the “Hirer” means any Person, Company or Corporation who shall hire any goods from the Owner. Hire term is One 24 hour period only . Unless otherwise stated by Owner.
2. If a Deposit is paid Deposits will NOT be refunded if the order is cancelled 14 days or less before delivery date.
2A.An additional charge is payable for cleaning of equipment where equipment is returned in a dirty or unclean condition. An additional charge is payable for repair or replacement where equipment is returned in a damaged or non working condition. The Hirer will pay the current replacement costs for broken equipment or damaged equipment (fixed, by a copy of suppliers invoice to the Owner) whether due to neglect of the Hirer or for any other reason.
3.A INDEMNITY
The Hirer shall indemnify and keep indemnified and save harmless the Owner and the Owner’s servants and agents from all damages, suits, actions, claims, and demands of every description whatsoever and howsoever arising directly or indirectly from the use, maintenance, transport, operation of the goods or otherwise and weather resulting from the negligence of the Owner its servants or agents or otherwise.
3B. EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY
The Owner shall not be liable to the Hirer or the Hirer’s servants or agents for any damages, suits, claims, and demands of every description whatsoever and howsoever arising either directly or indirectly from representations, warranties, terms and conditions, express or implied (except in so far as statutory conditions and warranties cannot be excluded under Part V Division 2A of the Trade Practices Act (1974) or relevant State Legislation) use, or maintenance, transport, operation or the goods or otherwise and weather resulting from the negligence of the Owner its servants or agents or otherwise.
3C. OPERATION OF CLAUSES A AND B
Clauses A and B hereof to the extent to they are inconsistent with other clauses, terms, and conditions of this Agreement are to override such clauses and be of paramount force.
4. Hirer to grant access to Owner for repair, examination or recovery of equipment in event of Hirer default.
5. Hirer grants irrevocable permission for the Owner to enter upon any premises or property where the equipment is stored to recover the same. Where pick-up by the Owner is agreed, equipment shall be dismantled and stacked in an accessible position for easy pick-up and easy loading as Owners trucks do not leave load carriageway, any extra expense incurred by the Owner in this regard is payable by the Hirer.
6. Refunds will only be made at the discretion of the Owner which shall be absolute.
7. Trading terms for charge account customers are net seven days (7) days and the Hirer shall pay interest at the rate of two (2) per cent per centum per calendar month (or part thereof) for late payments charge to be calculated on the amount outstanding from the due date. All other Hirer’s shall pay EFT/COD/CASH Cheques must be cleared.
In addition to any other rights of the Owner all payments not made when due and payable including additional charges for repair or return charges for replacement charges for extension of hire, or otherwise, shall bear interest on the amount outstanding from time to time at the rate of two (2) per centum per calendar month (or part thereof) from the date upon which payment should have been paid until payment in full is made.
8. All goods supplied for functions to be held in public places, or unsecured private properties are the sole responsibility of the Hirer, who could be asked by the owner to supply either security or insurance or both for the period of the hire covering all goods supplied.
9. Goods shall not be moved or shifted from the address hereon without consent of the Owner. Goods received under terms specified hereon.
