hello friend
You've found ollo. Alex is the short one, Lars is the tall one.

We make music, play it live, DJ, have a regular radio show on 2SER, contribute to FBI Radio's Sunday Night at the Movies, and have written for Cyclic Defrost magazine. If you want to know more about us generally, download our bio. If you're lucky it will be up to date. We're remixing Groove Armada, and working with Steve Cobby from Fila Brasillia and all sorts. Our latest album, The If If, is out now in Australia, the UK and the US. There's stuff about it and a video below. You could have a look at the ad-laden hell of our MySpace.

ollo album # 2

So yeah, The If If. You can get it from all good record stores in Australia or online. It was album of the week and got healthy support from community radio (one of Australia's national treasures). We try to keep this site up to date but it can be tricky working day jobs as well...

The single "The Campaign for Real Bread" available in 7" vinyl, either from us or click on the image below. You can click the button below to buy "The If If" which is much better in CD form than a poxy download we reckon

And here's the CFRB video

If you want to taste our debut album, SLEEPER, you can buy it from us or just look on iTunes wordwide. Email us [ollo (at) ollo (dot) net (dot) au] for details if you'd like one. The press said:

Sublime and satisfying. A strong debut // 3D WORLD MAGAZINE // Addictive Summer listening... a mesmerising journey. Matthew Herbert is an easy comparison to make... combination of serious(ly) beautiful music and a carefree sense of humour // INTHEMIX.COM.AU EDITORS PICK // An amazing sonic journey. An Australian dance album to get excited about // PAUL TURNER, SX MAGAZINE // A delightfully light and breezy album of laidback grooves // TRM AUSTRALIA // An aural alchemist... diverse and compelling// TIM RITCHIE: RADIO NATIONAL // Clever and fun // XLR8R MAGAZINE USA // Sleeper is nothing short of great, great record... In a just world Sleeper's qualities would elevate the boys to the cultural heights currently ridden by kids like Manitoba, Fourtet & Prefuse 73 // VIBEWIRE.NET

Here's the video for "Ping Pong" from that same album, shot in Berlin by the very talented Doerte Kubillus (she wrote, directed, edited and did the effects).
