Byron Lounge Cinema is located a short 5 minute walk or drive West of the town centre. It is one of few remaining independently owned cinemas in Australia. Situated in the green and tranquil setting of the historic Arts Factory Village, we are a world removed from the hustle and bustle of the main street.

As Byron's first film venue, established in 1994, we are proud to help preserve our region's original creative spirit. The cinema is world renown for its hand-crafted decor and personalised service. Works by local artists are often on display. Where else do you enter the theatre through a stellar time tunnel? It's the ideal place to meet friends and family for a relaxing and affordable night out.
