more complete service for New South Wales sources including transcriptions of NSW
birth, death and marriage records and retrieval of documents held at the
NSW State Records Office (Kingswood repository). There is also a link

There are a number of services
offered at the Kingswood repository of the New South Wales State Archives
including:
A PROBATE AND DECEASED ESTATE RETRIEVAL SERVICE: This includes copying the relevant
files available at NSW State Records. Probate packages generally contain
the will and are currently available up till mid 1965. The deceased estate files can
also be accessed up to 1958, but do not generally contain a will. The fee for this service is $28 and
includes postage within Australia and copying of up to 20 standard A4 size
pages. It also includes GST. Where the file runs to more than 20 standard A4
pages, there is an additional fee of 50 cents per standard page or $2 for each non standard page. For overseas orders,

INSOLVENCY This is a
copying service of insolvency and bankruptcy files held at the NSW
State Archives. First check the NSW State Archives index for insolvencies. To go to
the insolvency on-line index (1842-1887) press here http://www.records.nsw.gov.au
The on-line does not yet include bankruptcies and we will need to check the
microfilm indexes for you for a fee of $5. These files cover the period
1888-1928. For bankruptcies after this time, you will need to consult the
National Archives because bankruptcy then became a federal matter. The fee for
these Packages is $35. This includes GST, postage, up to 20
standard A4 pages and up to 4 oversize pages for orders within Australia. Please
add $10 for postage and handling for overseas orders.
DIVORCE PACKAGE COPYING SERVICE: This is a
copying service of the divorce files held at the NSW
State Archives. Currently files are available for divorces till 1930. First check the NSW State Archives
index. To go to this on-line
index press here http://www.records.nsw.gov.au
However, the on-line index is not yet complete. If you do not find a reference number here, the number is usually also found on
the marriage certificate if the event took place in NSW. Alternatively, we can
search the more extensive indexes available at the NSW State Records repository. The best way to order divorce packages is to post or email the details
to us. The fee for this service is $35. This includes GST, postage, up to 20
standard A4 pages and up to 4 oversize pages for orders within Australia. Please

1841 TRANSCRIPTION SERVICE: This is a transcription of the files held at the NSW
