This was my first album I ever wrote and recorded. Work started on this album in October 2000 and was completed in December 2000. With a heap of idea's in my head I buried myself in my home studio for 3 "intense" months of solid recording and mixing. It was a really exciting time, especially when listening to the playback of the first mastering session at 'True-form Studios'. Some great songs came out of this album, and a great review by 'Australian Musician Magazine'. This album has kick started my passion to write a lot more heavy instrumental guitar music, it has been a real achievement for me to just to complete this album "Energize", and now I'm addicted !! After the success and excitement of recording "Energize", I decided to try and slow it down a bit, but continue on recording my ideas. Taking 12 months to write, record, mix and master, again in my home studio, the album "Mood-Swing" was completed. The finished product ended up being a solid instrumental guitar driven album, with a mixture of heavy to mild, even sounding a bit funky at times !! Mastering again done at 'True-form Studios' and it was sounding better than I had ever thought. The album received some great reviews from 'Chaos Music' and 'Online Music' with even more really hot songs coming off this album. Just too many good songs to give you samples of, sorry !! This album has to be some of the best work I have ever produced. With a few years of recording, mixing and mastering under my belt, as well as the purchase of some new additions to the studio, I have written some of my most heavy and powerful music ever. All recording still completed at my home studio, with mastering at 'True-form Studios'. Again, very melodic, but also dark and moody, these songs turned out to be some of my best. There are many new sounds, solo's and heavy guitar riffs. This album took almost 18 months to complete, but it was well worth the wait. 13 new songs, 55 minutes of instrumental power. This is my best by far. These new songs are huge, real epic's, some would definitely make great soundtrack material. Watch out for "Music-Box" - Check the samples and reviews !!

This new album, "Galaxy" contains a mixture of some of the heaviest music I have ever written. After doing so well with the "Music-Box" album, I decided to try and take my songwriting skills in a slightly different direction and write a concept album. It has turned out to be a very heavy guitar album !! It's a mixture of 'Nu-Metal' style with very heavy de-tuned guitar riffs, huge orchestral backings as well as many screaming guitar solo's in every song. A bit different, but it still clearly sounds like "Maccarocks". This new music is sounding very dark, spacey and powerful, but still, like all of my albums, it is very melodic and interesting. I feel I am breaking new ground with this style of music. It really has to be heard to be appreciated. Definitely written for big movie soundtracks - Check it out !!

This new album, "Project-No.5" (which is under still construction) is again being recorded entirely on the new 'Zoom' MRS-1608 in my home studio. With a few more additions to the studio, such as digital recorders and new computer editing programs as well as a heap of new song ideas, I intend to complete another very 'Heavy-Instrumental-Rock' album !! There will be a mix of acoustic guitars and solos as heard in "Music-Box", some piano mixed with very heavy and detuned guitars as heard in "Galaxy", more classic heavy rock guitar riffs and screaming solos as heard in "Energize" and some very smooth guitar rhythm and solo lines as heard in "Mood-Swing". This album should be a total mix of the 'best of' all of my other albums and I hope to have it completed sometime in the future - date yet to be fixed - and as per all of my other albums, it will be worth the wait !!

Three full songs from the "Music-Box" album have been used, 'Modulate', 'Driven' and 'Collision' plus many re-mixes of these songs have been created and used by 'Adrenalin Sounds' for TV and radio use. The re-mixes sound awesome !!
"Hard Rock / Heavy Metal Compilation" CD by 'Kid Antrim Music', New York. This American based music company only selects the top 16 songs of the genre which are entered by artists for distribution and guaranteed airplay to over 20 record companies and radio stations across USA. "Mood-Swing" was the selected song to go onto this CD.
"Boarder-X Productions" is a Sydney based music production company, specializing in 'Extreme Sports' DVD's and producing Television documentary's. 13 songs from "Mood-Swing" and "Music-Box" have been used in a 'Wakeboarding' documentary called "The Pro Ride" screened in the USA in Oct / Nov 2004. With another six show's on Australian 'Foxtel's' Extreme Sports show "Fuel" to come in 2005 !!
"Hard Sell Jingles" - Powerful production music by 'Adrenalin Sounds', Sydney. More songs from 'Maccarocks' albums have been used and added to the 'Adrenalin Sounds Production Music Library' to create 30 and 15 second 'Hard Sell Jingles' for TV and radio use. All my music used is classified as 'Hard Rock' and the new re-mixes sound great !!
"Pinks" is an LA based reality show on street car drag racing made for the 'Speed Channel' where participants race each other for their cars - "Lose the race - Lose your ride". Very Extreme !! Music from all my albums "Energize", "Mood-Swing", "Music-Box" and "Galaxy" have been used in this very exciting show which will be screening across USA around mid year and continuing for a full season in 2005 !!
This was my very first international radio interview recorded by 'Metalin-Mary' of radio station - Hard Rockin' 80's.com. This was also a first in the radio station's history. The "Australian Wakeboarding Pro-Tour - 2005" is another exciting and powerful production by 'Boarder-X Productions' Sydney. Plenty of music from my albums 'Music-Box' and my latest release 'Galaxy' has been used for the first two of six episodes of this extreme sport. "Bikers 2000 Video Magazine" - Alabama USA. This is a high octane show about motorcycles - fast bikes !! The show is on every Saturday night and the magazine is distributed monthly to over 350 stores and 21 states in the USA. Music from my latest project and all of my other albums is being used to highlight these awesome powerful machines - new stuff for 'Maccarocks' 2006 / 2007 !!
Music from all of my completed albums has recently been used in Canada and Japan - Production Music by 'Adrenalin Sounds', Sydney. I also have some new stuff from 'Project No-5' that also might continue on with more use overseas, fingers crossed - But is has been good so far, I can just see it continue to grow till the end of 2007 and onwards !!
