'Energize'

This album / demo was recorded entirely on the 'Boss BR-8' in my home studio over a period of three months.  I had purchased this unit about a month or so earlier with the thought of actually doing a bit of home recording.  I had really just learnt how to operate it, and still with still heaps and heaps to learn !!  I had a few good ideas in my head, so I grabbed my trusty 'Boss' DR-550 drum machine and started programming.  I wasn't really sure how the songs would sound as I had never recorded or mixed at home before, so I just started off with a riff that had been going around in my head for a while.  This riff turned out to be the song 'Energize', one of my all time favourite songs, the title track and probably the best song from this album !!  Everyone who heard this album  was so surprised at how good and professional the whole thing sounded !!  The album ended up being 12 tracks long with 8 instrumental tracks, 2 vocal tracks and a spoken 'intro' and 'outro' track by my daughter Tarryn.  Total running time, approximately 35 minutes.
