I started playing guitar at an early age, I can't exactly remember how old I was when my parents bought me my first guitar, but I do remember playing my first live acoustic gig at a school concert when I was about ten years old. I was originally from Ballarat, Victoria, Australia, but moved to Melbourne in 1988. I have been playing guitar on and off for many years, and I'm still learning. During this time I have played in many different cover bands, most recently playing in my own cover band called "Element" which I formed back in 1997. This band played many rock festivals and the pub scene around Melbourne for around three years and had a great time doing it. Eventually all band members decided to have a break to pursue some solo activities. During this time I had been writing my own instrumental songs, as I am really into Joe Satriani and Steve Vai's style of music. My own music style I would classify as being "Heavy Instrumental Rock", which is sometimes 'wild' and other times 'mild' but always very interesting, catchy, melodic and easy to listen to. |

I set up a recording studio in my home and decided to record some of my ideas. I have played all of the instruments on my albums, guitars, bass, keyboards and all the drum programming and mixing. In October 2000, I completed my first album "Energize", and I sent this into the 'Australian Musician Magazine' for an album review. I received a really good review about this CD, and so after the review and other good feedback I had received from friends and other musicians, I decided to continue on and write another album of solid instrumental guitar music. I took all the 'best of' songs from "Energize", re-mixed them and added the new material I had just written, and in October 2001, I released my second full album "Mood-Swing". In July 2003, I released my third album "Music-Box". This album ended up being some of the best work I have ever produced with two songs making the top 20 in the 2004 'ASAI' national song-writing competition and another song making the top 50 of the 'MusicOz' song-writing competition. I have continued on with my song writing style, heading in a slightly different direction this time in a concept album, and in January 2005, I released my fourth album "Galaxy". This album has a real space theme running throughout and like all my music, is very heavy, melodic and interesting - it is an exceptional album. Again another two songs from this album making the top 20 of the 2005 'ASAI' national song-writing competition. |

Currently all of my 'Heavy-Instrumental-Rock' albums are available for sale at various music shops - 'Gaslight Music' and 'Metal Mayhem' in Melbourne, 'Underground Music' in Werribee, 'Re-Discovery' in Ballarat and also at 'Music Matters' in Dubbo, NSW. These albums are also available directly from me. To promote my albums and my music, I have been dealing with some local Melbourne independent radio stations and I have done interviews on 97.9 fm, 90.7 SYN.fm and 106.7 PBS.fm. These stations are now all playing my music on rotation with some of their other heavier guitar based music. It's always great to be able to get airplay for my music. I have just recently done my very first international radio interview for 'Hard Rockin' 80's.com' - USA, hopefully with more to come - (Check out the awesome intro Mp3 in my 'media' section on that USA interview). I have also sent out many copies of my CD's to various record companies, independent record labels and television stations, so I will just have to keep my fingers crossed there !! |

I am now involved with two music production companies from Sydney, 'Adrenalin Sounds' and 'Boarder-X Productions' who are currently using some of my music for both Australian and USA 'Extreme Sports' projects. I am also now involved with 'Pullin Television', an L.A based production company who is now using my music for a reality street car drag racing show called "Pinks" and hopefully some other upcoming shows, and another Alabama based production company in USA producing a 'high octane' fast bikes show called "Bikers-2000", so make sure you keep checking my website for any new updates. I would like to try and get more of my music used for soundtracks, video games, extreme sports film clips and anywhere the producer requires a heavy driving guitar riff and solo in the background to highlight the production. I feel that some of my music would really fit in well here, and so far it is clearly working !! Check out awesome tracks like - 'Energize', 'Damaged' and 'Warhead' from the "Energize" album, 'Mood-Swing', 'Speed' and 'Hell's-Gates' from the "Mood-Swing" album, 'Music-Box', 'Hyper', 'The-Afterlife', 'Dreams', 'Modulate' and 'Machines' from the "Music-Box" album and for something really powerful and different, listen to tracks 'Motion', 'Contact', 'Radiation', 'Velocity' and 'Atomic' from the "Galaxy" album. Nothing but powerful, catchy, heavy, guitar driven, instrumental rock music - great to listen to when you want to drive fast !! I already have another new album "Project-No.5" in the pipeline with some more great tracks like 'Missile', 'Torque', Insects' and 'Stalker' headed your way, so guitar fans have a listen - I promise you won't be disappointed !!
