History

Mandurah Disabled Support and Recreational Respite Inc.
(MADSAR) was formed in 1994 and incorporated in
November of the same year.

It was the vision of one of the founding members,
who after himself becoming ill, found that there was no
sporting or recreational activities in Mandurah and the
surrounding areas for people with disabilities.


Vision Statement

People with disabilities will live rich and fulfilling lives in an
accepting and compassionate community.


Mission Statement

To provide individualised support to people with
disabilities to access sport and recreation options of their
choice.

To educate generic service providers to accept people with
disabilities as fully participating members of society.

To support and provide respite to carers.
