On the 29 November, 2000 I had the most enormous pleasure of seeing live an entertainer whom I have admired for many years.  He performed "in the round" at the "Rod Laver Arena" at  Melbourne Park Tennis Centre in Melbourne.

Probably the most happy times in my life were during those heady days of the 70s, and Barry White was without a doubt at that time the "Music Man  of Love". I have not been to many concerts of late, but when I heard Barry White was coming to Australia again, the last time being in 1974, I knew that I had to go to see him. I wanted desperately to be transported back via his music to a time when I was young, wonderfully happy, and in love.

I was so glad that I made the effort to go. His music once again moved not only me, but the thousand or two others that were also there to drink up his magic. Thank you Barry White, for letting me relive the most precious time in my life.

I have created this page for you, you will probably never see it, but here it is for you even so.
