kristina olsen
A superb instrumentalist (acoustic guitar, steel-body slide guitar, saxophone, concertina and piano) and a powerful singer-songwriter with a big bluesy voice. Based in California but tours the US, Europe and Australia for 10 months a year. Has released 10 CDs including 4 recorded in this country. Part of a songwriters' group for over 20 years and has taught songwriting, slide guitar and dance for musicians at adult music camps in the US, UK and at Summersong in Australia, for over 12 years

linsey pollak 
Well-known around Australia as a musician, instrument maker, composer, musical director and community music facilitator. Specialises  in designing and making wind instruments, marimbas and other tuned percussion. Enjoys making  music more accessible to the community through instrument  making and playing workshops. Famous for making instruments from rubber gloves, root vegetables, watering cans, chairs, brooms, bins, and other found objects.

greg sheehan
An innovative performer and teacher of percussion. Uses a huge variety of instruments, tuned  and untuned, organic and manufactured, even extending to the human body. Also plays unusual instruments including the bell-like Hang, jaws harps, bike horns and kitchen utensils. Above all he is probably the finest tambourine player in the country, extracting incomparable and intricate rhythmic patterns from this apparently humble instrument.

parvyn singh
The youngest member of the famous Dya Singh group. Now embarking on a solo career focusing on cultural synthesis and fusion. Combines Indian dance and chanting with Western jazz and soul music. Trains at the Kandamb Dance Academy and Saptak School of Music in Ahmadebad. An exciting and vivacious dancer and a soulful singer at folk festivals around the world.

beat lehmann
Founder and director of Aquapella world music choir in Townsville and former co-director of Akabella in Bellingen. Works principally with people without musical training, teaching songs of joy, hope and peace from around the world. His annual Mission Beach workshops are a regular sell-out. Led Aquapella to first place in the ABC Queensland Choir of the Year competition in 2006. Has performed regularly with Aquapella at Woodford where he was Director of the Festival Choir.

dani ceccarelli
An established yoga teacher and practitioner since 1996. Specialises in Ashtanga yoga but is familiar with the principles of Iyengar and Hatha yogas and yoga-synergy incorporating them into her classes to increase accessibility. A direct student of Sri K Pattabhi Jois of Mysore, she returns frequently to India to upgrade her training. Also a talented vocalist and percussionist.
