Site Design

I have to thank Ady Gould for coming back on board and producing this initial version of my new web site. This is even more of a bonus as he works full time and produced this in a very short period whilst under pressure from myself to complete the work.

Ady used:

• Macromedia Fireworks MX 2004
• Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004
• Mozilla FireFox 0.9
• Internet Explorer 6
• Lynx (for Windows)
• and other software running on an IBM PC Compatible Pentium 4 1.3GHz machine, with Windows 2000 for the operating system.

During site design he and I communicated online via MSN and eMail as to the layout and colours to use. In the end it only took a small amount of commenting by myself to Ady to give the layout as it is. Clean, sharp, yet a feel of grungy wanting to come out..

As ever Ady has produced a wonderfully simplistic yet stylish design, with the template being finalised in under 5 hours, and the first pages being produced the same day.

Ady said that he cannot take credit for the menu. This is coded using CSS with a small fix for IE, using code written by Aleksandar Vacic, web developer, living in Belgrade, Serbia. The code is found in the articles on the ADxMenuweb page.

If there are problems then Ady would like to know as it is always hard to see what a problem is when you are designing and do not have access to all the possible layouts and browsers...

This site works superbly using FireFox 0.9 and later.

Site eMail problem

For some reason, we've been getting blank e-mails from the site. All our tests are working (from Mancer's home account and my home account, as well as from remote sites such as my workplace).

My thoughts are that there are some robots trying to spam the mail form, but are not succeeeding as they hoped.

As a result for a temporary measure we have put a direct mailto link to Mancer, with some text being filled in for you. Please ensure you fill out the text.
