Blue Collar

I'm not really sure what it is that attracts me to blue collar workers. It might be the fantasy of a big strong bear of a man, working out in the open, either high up on scaffolding, or down breaking in new roads.

They have a quality about them that stinks of being a real man.

As a child, I was surrounded by blue collar workers; my father was a truck driver, as were most of his mates, so from a young age, I was constantly looking up at these powerful men with a feeling of awe and admiration, hoping that one day I'd grow up to be just like them.
