CONSTRUCTION OF THE NEW ‘RAL’ HOUSE
22nd
July 2007

The above photo shows the acres
(well 1/20 acre) of hardwood floating floor that we installed.

View from the spare bedoom.

The near complete
kitchen on moving day. The stove extractor was installed a few days before this
photo was taken but leaked copiously during heavy rain later the same day. The
plumber clambered onto the roof (sloping, wet and about 5 m above the ground) while
it was still raining / sleeting, covered himself with a tarpaulin, dried
everything off and resealed the flue.

We lit the wood heater as soon as
we started moving things into the house, it was less
than 10oC inside.

The girls bathroom getting a
serious clean on moving day.
