The promotion of good
fellowship, and knowledge and advancement of all that
pertains to orchids, particularly their history,
cultivation, and dissemination of such knowledge to each
other.

The Society has approximately fifty members.
An orchid growers competition, guest speaker, raffles, and a
delightful supper, are part of the usual program for each meeting.
Two
shows are held each year. The first one for the year is
the Maroochydore Orchid Society Members Only mini show in Autumn ... and our annual
open show in August.
Nine affiliated societies of the Sub Tropical Orchid Council
Queensland take part in the show in August.
Cultural
Meeting Nights
Tabled Orchid Competition: Points
are recorded from February to November. Trophies are presented at the end of the
year to the members with the
highest points in the various sections. Please have
your orchids tabled by 7.15pm.
