Marcelo Berlanda is a renowned Olive Expert with over 14 years experience in olive growing. Marcelo, has set many benchmarks in the development of the Olive Industry in Australia and overseas.

During Marcelo’s university years, he worked as an Assistant Student for the Agricultural Sciences Faculty at the National University of Catamarca along with the Department of Agriculture in the province of Catamarca, Argentina as an assistant in Research Projects.

After completion of his Bachelor Science and Agricultural Engineering in Argentina, Marcelo was employed as Technical Officer by an Agribusiness management company in charge of the Olive tree nursery and the development and management of Olive plantations in Argentina.

Marcelo brought his wealth of experience to Australia as an Olive Consultant by the largest Olive Nursery at that time. Continuing with his career as Technical Development Officer and later as Technical Manager for the largest olive project in Australia. This in turn lead to Project Manager for the largest Olive Harvester manufacturer in Australia where the primary responsibility was for the manufacture and delivery of continuous Over-the-Row Olive harvesting machinery.

Marcelo was also employed as Processing Plant Manager by one of the largest Olive Oil Producers in Australia, where he was in charge of processing, storage and delivery of Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

Currently Marcelo Berlanda is the dealer of MEA (Measurement Engineering Australia) range of products in Argentina as well as the renowned COE Harvester Machines.

Marcelo has also researched the olive growing regions of Argentina, California, Chile, Greece, Italy, New Zealand, and Spain. In Australia he is currently working with clients in NSW, QLD, VIC, SA & WA.

This has given him solid knowledge on the modern Olive Industry and the latest technical developments.
