This little cutie is all white except for a little grey stripe on the top of the boys head. Mickey is super affectionate, easy to handle and a delightful, confident young man. He's very inquisitive and playful and will do fine in a busy household with kids and dogs. Mickey needs to be inside mostly due to his colouring however he does like to duck outside for a quick nibble of grass, so he'd be best suited to a house rather than a unit/apartment.

Tamm came into care underweight and with a history of not being a good eater at all, certainly did not chew bones. A few days in care and Tamm 's face on one side blow up like a balloon and thinking maybe a bee sting he went straight to the vets where it was revealed that he had a terribly infected tooth and several major ulcers on the inside of his mouth. This long term infection started where the thumb is on the picture and had travelled all the way under the skin and was coming out where the 3 sores are near his nose. Tamm had to have emergency surgery to remove the pockets of ulcerated infection and also his back tooth. He is recovering well, definately got an appetite now and is making up for lost time in that regard, eats anything now, a massive bowl full very night including chicken necks.

lovely nature and at times can be quite shy. He loves being around
people and loves cuddles and he understands when its time for a quite
moment either reading or watching tv.
He gets along very well with other dogs and enjoys playing with toys and
riding in the car.
He is not too great on a leash, but he is getting better by the day and
with regular exercise will be a good dog to walk.
He is very responsive to obedience and within 2 days had learnt how to
sit when asked, even without a treat in hand.

Daisy is a very sweet lovable girl. She’s relatively tiny only weighing approx 3-3.5 kilos, making her very easy to pick up & cuddle. She can be a little shy to start with, but before long she’s following you around, trying to see what your doing, or rolling over for tummy rubs. She’s fine with other small dogs but we don’t think she is dependant on another canine for her happiness, so a home with another small dog or without is fine. She loves humans and can get quite excited when you get home dancing round in circles. She’s not a fussy eater and is a very placid sweet girl.

Teddie is a beautiful, placid and gentle boy. Having been neglected for the past year, he has piled on the weight and his coat was very dry and dull. Since he came into care, he is slowly losing the weight and his coat is glorious and shining. With a vast improvement in the quality of his food, and soft bedding, lots of TLC and trips to the dog park, Teddie has really come out of his shell. He is very friendly, loves adults and kids and follows his foster carer around continually. He shows complete disinterest in anything feline. He walks very well on lead, is perfectly housetrained and typically Labrador, loves his water . After a long walk he will come home and usually place his paws one at a time in his water bowl. He is non-destructive, having not ripped anything apart, he usually has a toy or a ball in his mouth when he greets you at the door. The only concern I have for him is that he is quite anxious when he is first left alone, regardless of how many canine companions he has with him, how many toys are left with him or how long a walk he goes on in the morning, but this is becoming under control, the new owner will need some patience in this area. This boy will only go to a home who can truly appreciate this most precious young fella.

Zara is typical of the breed – being alert and active, she needs regular exercise and stimulation. Luckily, she LOVES a game of FETCH so wearing her out is easy. Zara is quite rank driven so she is good with other dogs as long as the hierarchy is clear. For this reason we would also recommend an experienced owner who can display clear leadership.
Zara has had basic obedience training (SIT, COME, HEEL, STAY) and is keen to please. She is fine with older children (say 10+) but a little too excitable for the littlies. Zara has good manners with food.

Ash is desexed and microchipped. His multi-coloured coat is striking - tan/gold/black/white. People always
comment on it! He has the most gorgeous nature - very friendly, affectionate and gentle -
loves everybody and everything. Including my cat! He gets on well with other animals and
people and is fully house trained. He grew up with another male dog and my cat - they all love
and wash each other.
He is a big dog! :) And still some puppy type features. Loves to run - needs more space than
my small backyard can offer. So I am looking for someone on acreage to take my beautiful
boy..he is a good rabbiter - he loves chasing them (and eating them) and will sniff out
burrows. He is good with horses - doesn't chase them. He grew up with horses early on...
Ash has some lovely qualities - he has a deep, deep bark and he "sings" with the sirens of
ambulances or police cars - or with me when I sing sometimes (I am not as good as a siren!!
LOL) ...it is quite delightful.
All up - he a wonderful companion and needs someone to just love him and continue to train

We were walking in a country park in Hong Kong with our other 2 puppies when an unknown puppy with no fur on his face came to play, a group of walkers ahead of us didn't like the look of the puppy & continued to push him away with sticks. We stopped this & took him home, he was clearly sick. This is how we came to love & care for "Scar Face" for over 3 years. Since moving to Sydney, having a daughter with another child on the way "Scarf", as we call him now, has not really settled he craves our attention. We are desperately trying to find loving owners to take care of him. Scarf is house trained, loves to play with you, is a great guard dog and will give you lots of love. Poor Hetty hasn't had the best start to life. Born with an unfortunate Mustache, she was found behind the local shops at around six weeks of age. Due to this she is still very cautious around people as she is scared they are going to hurt her. Once she feels comfortable in her surroundings she acts like a normal little kitten running around and playing with toys. She will come upto you for pats and even sit in your lap and purr the night away. Hetty would prefer to be the only feline in the household so she can deeply bond with her owner. Hetty is 100% litter trained and loves using her scratching post. She is not destructive, and sheds little fur. Hetty just wants someone who can look past her mustache and can be a kind and devoted owner. The person who does will be rewarded with a very loyal and affectionate friend. Jade is a sweet, loving and affectionate girl who loves people and is quite obsessed with saying hello to everyone.
She is very well toilet trained and we are very impressed with her obedience. She is very well behaved and we are happy to say only chews on her own chew toys!
Jade very much enjoys playing, but also knows when it is time to relax in front of the TV.
While Jade is not a small dog she does not need an overly large yard. She only uses our yard to go to the toilet and play with us.
Jade LOVES a cuddle and likes nothing more than relaxing for a belly rub. Jade is still only young and would benefit from another playful dog to play with or a home that will take her out a lot to play with other dogs. She will be great companion for a loving home with another dog or with people home often.

Jack has great manners for a pup of his age and loves attention and lots of cuddles.
He is a big eater and has lots of energy and loves to play in the grass with tennis balls.
He is great with other dogs and loves to play with them.
Jack is a beautiful boy and will do well with a first time pet owner or in a home that already has pets.
Ruby is a little shier than her brother Jack and takes her time getting to know you. Once she does know you she is a wonderful girl. She gets very excited, loves to play and when the time is right, she loves a cuddle too.
She is great around other dogs and will do well in a home that already has pets or with someone who can spend quality time with her. She would also do well with some puppy training or puppy school so she can have regular interaction with other dogs and people.

Coco is an incredibly cute and charming little girl. Although she is 7 years old – she doesn’t know it and acts like a much younger dog. She loves to play with her foster brother Yoda and run round the yard. She is very well housetrained (she’s fine with a doggie door) and loves being inside, as such we would like her to go to a family where she will be very much the inside family dog. She isn’t a fussy eater at all and loves her food and has even been known to visit the chook pen next door to help herself to their bread, all without upsetting the chooks and even takes back bread to share for her doggie companions at home, now that's a caring sharing little girl. She travels well in the car and if she is off lead is very well behaved and she will not run off and always comes when called. Unfortunately Coco is camera shy so we haven’t been able to get a picture that shows just how cute this girl is. She is not used to younger children (she tends to hide from them) so a family with kids over 8 would be preferred. Coco is fine with other similar sized dogs and loves to play with them. This girl is a real charmer and is waiting to find her forever home.

She is a big dog with a big heart. Fuzz has been left alone far too much in her 3 year life span. This makes her desperate for your attention, pats & cuddles which means she can be a bit enthusiastic when first greeting you. She was not trained sufficiently as a puppy but has been making some strides in the right direction since coming into care. She does know how to Sit however Stay & Come are being worked on. She does know how to walk loose lead with me but needs to understand there can be more than one leader in her life. She gets over enthusiastic when meeting other dogs, common sense is lost & she strains on lead. She is not a fussy eater thank goodmess & is a healthy weight with a great long shaggy coat.
She was living with a Jack Russell so should be OK with another doggie friend but introductions would need to be guided as her size, weight & sheer excitment could intimidate your dog. She doesn't have a nasty bone in her so with ongoing training she will make a great family pet. She in currently in a foster home with 3 children the youngest being 7. I would Rather not have her go to a family with younger children as they could easily be knocked about by accident.

Spacey is a very pretty, soft coated little girl who is a special needs cat after coming into care from a colony of street cats. Spacey and her siblings came into care at 10 weeks old and while her siblings started to enjoy their foster home within a few days, Spacey has never totally warmed to people. Spacey is more than happy in the company of people but she's not fussed about our presence and isn't keen on being patted or cuddled (although you can do both). Spacey loves other cats and she spends her days snoozing, playing with toys or cuddled up to the other foster cats.
Spacey's ideal home is with another cat as playmate and/or to a home likes to have a cat around without wanting a lapcat or overly affectionate cat.

Pebbles is absolutely adorable and loves everyone. She was housetrained
when she came into care and took to the doggy door straight away. Pebbles
is not a yappy dog and rarely barks. She is definitely a lap dog and loves

out for a walk though and as she is still quite young will need regular
exercise. Pebbles is good with other dogs but does like getting most of the

Love me, love me, love me. That is all Mischa wants. He is very affectionate and just wants to be with someone. He does get along with other dogs fine but may find them a bit boisterous. Regal is cheeky boy but sweet at the same time. Even though he is all black, we truly believe he is part ragdoll as he 'flops' when you pick him up. Regal loves to be picked up and cuddled and will sleep in almost any position which is quite funny to watch - sometimes this involves being wrapped up in the tightest ball, or upside down with paws in the air. He loves to be patted, and especially brushed with his comb. Regal is playful and loves running around the house with his foster sister daphne but would also be happy living on his own. He loves his food and isn't fussy at all. Regal is also toilet trained, and learning to use his scratching post. If you are looking for a beautiful lap cat, Regal is the one for you!

Super smoochy, he is ginger and white and a very affectionate funny cat who has been raised around rats birds rabbits etc and gets along fine with them. He has been an only cat but does not seem to mind the other cats once he gets to know them. Garfield can be a bit vocal when not getting your full attention, so a home that wants a cat to follow them around and be at their feet or on their laps is ideal for Garfield. He loves to give you little kisses and head butts and he's just a super affectionate boy. Charlotte, the tortoiseshell girl has had a few close scrapes with death and has used up a couple of her 9 lives.
She is now very healthy & extremely chubby. She has 2 cute stripes to the sides of her eyes - one is black & the other is ginger.
She is extremely well socialised having been raised with other kittens & cats of various ages. The also have had lots of contact with a large dog & think it is acceptable behaviour to wander between the dogs legs and eat her food while the dog is also eating, & play with the fur between her toes.
She is a brilliant travelers in a car, having clocked up around 2000 klms so far, due to being bottle fed, and having been away on holidays with us as well as to work, netball training etc.

What a delightful dog!!! Tammy is calm, mature and super friendly. Tammy has two issues: she suffers from separation anxiety and so is not suitable as an only dog. She also has a plate in her leg from an earlier accident which causes her some soreness in cold weather. Because of this, it would be ideal if she could sleep indoors. Luckily Tammy is housetrained, gets on fantastically with other dogs, is good with cats and loves children… so she should fit easily into most households.

Roxy is very sweet and lovely girl. She loves nothing more than to curl up on your lap and sleep on your bed.....She loves comfort. We think she is crossed Tibetan Spaniel but she is quite small. Roxy will need a new home with colour bond type fencing as she can quite easily climb over fences anything that she can get her feet into and she is over. She would be ideally be suited to an indoor home with someone who is home alot to keep her company and only going outside for toilet breaks, she is toilet trained and will hold all day until she is able to go outside. She gets on well with other dogs would prefer to be the only dog...to be spoilt! She tends to bark at cats although after a while she will so give up and tolerate them. Scooby is one very lucky boy he was rescued at the very last minute before being put to sleep. The pound staff all loved him and gave him a great reference.
Poor Scoobs wasn't fed very often in his previous home so he needed a few weeks to fatten up and get back into condition.
Scooby isn't a giant dog but he is quite solid and should be around Labrador size or a touch smaller. He is currently learning basic obedience and he is responding very well. He walks resonably on a lead despite this and is great with other dogs. Scoobs doesn't have a bad bone in his body he's a bit clumsy sometimes but very sweet :)

Bindaree (named after a hut in the Victorian high-country) was the last born of a litter of 5.He was born at 8:30pm at night & was not expected as his other 4 sibling had been born hours before.
He had a bit of a rough start to life as he wasn't strong enough to fight his siblings for a nipple, but with outside help putting him on a nipple whenever they could he started to thrive & has turned into a most gorgeous boy.
He has a very unique personality: He loved to ride around on a remote controlled car when he was younger.
He chases the vacuum cleaner around when you are vacuuming & he has a love of playing with water.
He will spend ages splashing his paws in the water bowl and licking them dry, & if the toilet lid is left up, you can be assured he will have heaps of fun splashing around in the toilet bowl.
He also loves to stand on the rim of the toilet when it is flushing. Very unusual.
Bindi also loves to come up for a cuddle & loves the company of other cats as well as our large dog.

Von is a lovely sweet gentle boy, who has spent the last 3 yrs in a convent where he was given little to no attention at all. Von is a soft natured, insecure boy who grew up quite dependant on his mother who he lived with up until a year or so ago. He can be frightened by loud noices and busy situations such as planes and traffic but as he settles into a routine he is more relaxed.
Von doesn't seem bothered by cats but he would prefer a home with no other pets so he can have your undivided attention. Very gentle and kind and loves to be cuddled.
Grover however is deaf. We believe had he has some close range hearing, but that is about all.
From what we can assess with him he hasn’t had a lot to do with other dogs and is only just learning how to play like a puppy.
The biggest concern we have with Grover was him coming into a new environment. He was quite scared Of my yard and other dogs and it took a couple of days for him to settle in. Once he new he was safe
then he was ok.

Ellie is a gorgeous friendly little Chihuahua. She is great with kids (Due to her size however over 7 years old is best – younger than that can very easily tread on her). She is good with other dogs similar in size, however she seems to prefer a male companion. She does need to be rehomed with another similar sized dog as she seems much happier with a companion in the yard. When she gets overexcited she will sometimes wet herself but this is not often. She’s not overly playful with toys, she would like to play with the other dogs but as she is so tiny she tends to get left out (She is fairly active though) She will bark if something is bothering her (She’s not yappy just a little girl who will express her opinion when the need calls for it). When Ellie came into care, she had overgrown toenails, flea irritation & some infected teeth. He toenails have been clipped, her back looks lovely again, and her two infected teeth have been removed. Her two missing front teeth don’t hinder her in any way, and she still happily enjoys her food including chicken necks, she is a little slower to eat than the other dogs but she does get there in the end. She does tend to like to have your fingers in her mouth, we are trying to break her of this habit, but its hard as because it doesn’t hurt at all – actually it kind of tickles : ) This little girl is gorgeous in looks & would like a home that will appreciate her.

Beautiful natured girl who loves kids and can only go to a home where she is able to be an integral part of the family. She loves to be where ever her family are and if they go off in different direction she stand there debating as to who she must follow first and then roams around checking on everyone else wherever they are.
When desexed they found she had a cancerous tumor in one of her ovaries. The ovary was removed intact.

When Genna was being desexed an ovarian tumour was discovered during the surgery. Pathology reports showed this to be cancerous however luckily it appears the whole tumour was removed and there is no sign of it having spread. Genna is doing well and is now a happy, bouncy girl after having quite a bad reaction to the anesthetic.

Jess is a very intelligent and gorgeous girl. She is still fairly young with a spring in her step to match. Jess likes to be with people and try's her very best to please her owners in every way she can. She is a very quick learner who will make a fantastic, loving, loyal companion.
Being a young gun, Jess would be best suited to a home that does not have young children or toddlers. She is very sociable with other dogs & would be fine to be an only dog in your family or have a doggie companion. She knows basic obedience, enjoying regular walks and training sessions. Jess has undergone recent reaffirmation training and has progressed well, she knows all her basics, can perform consistently Sit, Stay & Come all the while as "on lead work". She has a high chase drive which is being worked on, so no off leash work has been done.
She is food orientated which makes her a willing & easy subject. Yummy chicken is her favorite treat.
She has been fine to leave throughout the daytime while I work but she must have toys or games to play with, otherwise (like all adolescent dogs) she will find something to amuse herself with. Don't then be surprised to come home to find "something" deserved her attention in your absence. Balls, pull toys, a Kong are enough to keep her busy for hours.
It took Jess a good week to get used to us after coming into care so I'd envisage a settling in period whereby your rules are instigated and some boundaries are tested but a consistent, patient, caring attitude will win her over & you will be rewarded with a great family pet.

Update 1/6/09: Emily loves nothing more than to sit next to you while your watching TV or lie down on the bed next to you at night. She has a quite disposition and can amuse herself with a few play toys, mats or the little things we leave lying around, she requires little care as her coat is short hair and she is tortoise shell in colour. Emily has beautiful big golden eyes and a very cute disposition, she very rarely meows and has a placid nature. Emily gets on well with other cats and plays well with dogs (she is currently fostered with our resident japanese spitz whom she adores, a Chihuahua, as well as Cody a foster kitten.) Cody has been in Foster care since 6 weeks of age, he is 5mths old now and looking for a forever home, he is an adventuress little guy, whom loves being both an inside cat and having access to the out doors, Cody requires a home in which will appreciate his efforts to bring you little presents of grass hoppers and crickets to tell you he is earning his keep. He enjoys a cuddle but when he wants to get up and go he likes nothing more than to prance around looking for things that move. Cope, (named after a Cattleman's hut in the Victorian High country.)
was born on the 28th October 2008 at 3:44pm, & was the 2nd born in a litter of 5 kittens.
Cope has the most divine personality.
He loves to play, is extremely acrobatic, & if you feel a kitten with their paws around your ankle, you don't even have to look down to know it is Cope.
He follows you around and always wants to see what you are doing whether it is the dishwasher, the clothes washing or the vacuuming.
He also loves to play with water - he loves to scoop it out of the bowl with his paw, then lick his paw dry.
Cope absolutely loves our very large dog, walks in and out of her legs, steals her food from her bowl when she is eating and loves to play with her fur, & tries to take her blanket.
Cope would make a wonderful addition to a home with a dog if the dog is very tolerant - if there is any chance the dog wouldn't put up with a cat continually following it around & annoying it, then Cope probably wouldn't fit in, but if you want a cat that adores a dog, this might be the boy for you.
Cope does have a lot of white on him - a very stunning whiter than white, and should be a cat who is able to stay indoors most of the time so he doesn't get cancer on his nose.

These 2 kittens were found in 2 separate cast iron urns. It was a very hot day, the urns were so hot that you couldn't keep your hand on them. Their mum must have left them there when she was moving them & they had slipped through a small hole into the bottom of the pedestal & she couldn't get them out from there. A worker heard their cries for help - very lucky little kittens to be saved.
They were estimated at about 1 & 1/2 weeks old due to their development and they have been bottle fed from the day they were found.
Charlotte, the tortoiseshell girl has had a few close scrapes with death and has used up a couple of her 9 lives.
She is now very healthy & extremely chubby. She has 2 cute stripes to the sides of her eyes - one is black & the other is ginger.
Smiggins had an easier run with life, he has a stunning spotty light grey coat & is also extremely chubby. Smiggins comes running when he is called as he thinks it is always time for food or a cuddle when he is called.
Both kittens are extremely well socialised having been raised with other kittens & cats of various ages. The also have had lots of contact with a large dog & think it is acceptable behaviour to wander between the dogs legs and eat her food while the dog is also eating, & play with the fur between her toes.
They are brilliant travelers in a car, having clocked up around 2000 klms so far, due to being bottle fed, they have been away on holidays with us as well as to work, netball training etc.
