Dogs - Death Row

These animals are currently in various kill pounds and shelters or are in DCH funded boarding kennel facilities. The pound rescue animals will only have 7 days (14 days if microchipped) to be claimed by their owners or rehomed. Although we do not have a time limit on our DCH rescues in kennels we can not keep them for long periods of time confined in a kennel environment - DCH have not had to put an animal to sleep from long term kennelling, please help us keep it that way.

If you wish to adopt one of these animals or Foster Care one until a permanent home can be found then please contact us as soon as possible.

All descriptions of breeds, ages and sizes are given in good faith and there is no guarantee that these are correct.

Snoopy
Male Cattle x - 18mths

Foster Carer Required-
Snoopy's foster carer is about to have her first baby in a few weeks and so we need to find another foster carer. If you can help please contact us so that Snoopy doesn't have to be kennelled

Snoopy is a young man with an independent spirit who sadly had to leave his family of 3 children behind. He is a sweet and affectionate boy and loves to play fetch with his ball which is great way to exercise him as he is an active dog. He is at the perfect age for training and would be great at agility. He enjoys his regular walks using a halti and knows basic commands. Snoopy requires a home with a larger dominant dog that is able to put up with his sometimes boisterous behaviour. Snoopy is medium sized, about the size of a kelpie and has a short, low maintenance coat and is happy to live outside, or inside with his family as he is toilet trained. Currently living with two other male dogs, he is a happy boy who would love more space to stretch his legs and a family of his own.

Can you help by sponsoring any of these dogs kennel fees?
It costs us $12 a day (per dog) to keep these rescue dogs in boarding until suitable permanent or foster homes can be found. If you can help with these additional costs by sponsoring one of our death row dogs then please contact Megan on dchanimaladoptions@iprimus.com.au or make a donation here:
