Foster Care

Once animals are rescued we need loving homes for them to temporarily stay in until permanent homes can be found. Sometimes this can take months and a serious commitment is required to undertake this work but it is very rewarding and we always need new carers especially for larger breed dogs, puppies and horses. Driving

We need volunteers that can transport animals from the pounds to our vet clinics and from the clinics to foster carers homes. This is on an as needs basis, but we are transporting dogs & cats several times a week at present, and usually between Western Sydney and the inner city, or from Sydney to Wollongong. Posters

We need volunteers that can print out posters to distribute in their local area and in particular we are looking for volunteers who can regularly update poster books in their local vet clinics or pet shops. Donations

Donations of towels, dog toys and other pet supplies are always welcome. We would be grateful for food donations and our horses need horse rugs, halters, lead ropes, feed bins, buckets and grooming gear. Please email dchanimaladoptions@iprimus.com.au or call Megan 9627 2767.
