Dusty is a lovely little girl who has had a rough life. She was found roaming the streets scared and hungry. When she was finally brought into care she was in a very poor state having mammary lumps, skin irritations, ear infections and on top of all that she was pregnant. Since being in care she has had the mammary lumps removed (they turned out to be nothing serious) and her ear and skin infections are all healed. Dusty has been an asset to her foster carers home, she is very well behaved follows you whereever you are in the house, she just loves to sit on your lap at night and she adores all the attention. Dusty is quite a big Jack Russell weighting around 8kgs. Patches of her fur have been shaved due to her skin problems but when it grows back she will have a lovely coat. Dusty isn't a typical on-the-go-Jack russell she is very laid back and wouldn't need a lot of exercise she is just happy lazying around the house all day. She doesn't walk on the lead but once she gets to know you she will just follow you around off the lead, she is toilet trained and will hold on until she can go outside to do her business. Dusty will be ideally suited to a home where her new mum or dad will be home quite a lot she gets on with other dogs and cats but would prefer to be a only pet so she can get all the attention she deserves. She would not suit a home with children as she can get quite scared if you raise your voice.

Roxann
Female Collie Rough x -

Sadly Roxann didn't making after coming down with a gastro bug from the pound, she will be sadly missed by her carer and all those who gave her a second chance after she was dumped Roxann was surrendered to the pound as her neighbours loved using the hose and she thought it was play time so she would bark at them and they would then open her gate and let her out, she would run to them to play seeing they let her out and then they would hose her down and scream at her and at her owner. This girl is such a delight, well mannered and lovely and friendly. She loves other dogs, her food, cuddles and walks well on a lead and generally is just a really nice soft natured girl who loves to be with you. She is not ready for go to her new home just yet as she came into season and caught kennel cough at the pound and we just need a few weeks until she can be desexed but she is certainly available for a deposit to be taken on her. She was not housetrained but is learning very quickly as she is very bright and just wants to please you.

16/2/09: Over the last few weeks Alladah has been dropping condition and scouring. He lost muscle tone and was starting to look listless. The foster carer got the vet out last week who confirmed that he was getting old and it was time for him. They arranged for the vet to come and put him to sleep later on this week. However, Alladah was unable to get up this morning and the vet had to come earlier than expected. He has now passed on to greener pastures (and hopefully a more youthful body!).
We wish him peace and good grazing!
He is a real gentleman with proper manners and is good with kids, dogs and other horses. Alladah is easy to handle and care for, but needs two hard feeds per day.

Tom
Male Whippett -

Tom acts alot younger than his grey hairs would depict - he enjoys playing with other dogs of all ages and sizes, whether it's a wrestle, a chase game or whatever's going! Not winning many beauty contests, Tom certainly makes up for it by being the most well-mannered and gentle boy you could ever ask for. Tom is a bit 'chunkier' than most whippets with a solid chest but has the most beautiful shiny black & white speckled coat. He can easily be left for longer periods yet prefers to be close when his his people come home, a definate home-body. He is very quiet boy (I've haven't even heard him bark) and sleeps through the night on his bed. Tom has a beautiful nature and keeps a loving watch over Louis wherever he goes. Tom relys heavily on other dogs for confidence so he must go to a home where there is another dog.

Lily
Female Cattle/Kelpie x mastiff?

Lily is aptly named.. cos she is the 'lil' one... (well in this litter that is) She is the runt of the litter and is her colouring is brindle all over with chocolate brown eyes.. She is a cheeky little one and cluey too.. Lily is growing into a lovely affectionate young pup and is extremely clever and witty.. She will need good high fencing, preferably colourbond or paling fencing, as she has the ability and agility to climb. She is obviously a quick learner, with a cheeky little glint in her eye.. and appears to almost have a sense of humour. She will need to have a home where her playful, cheekiness is appreciated, and where people will be accepting that if they leave things she might like to 'play' with, within her reach.. that she probably will play with them.. She loves pats and cuddles, playing with her toys and she enjoys the company of other dogs. She appears to have mastiff in her parenting along with the cattle/kelpie from her mum, however being the runt she will not be anywhere as big as her brothers. She quite a leggy little lady and has the characteristic Kelpie head tilt which she obviously inherited from her mum Sharla.

Picture Coming Soon

Timmy is a gentle, submissive and incredibly sweet baby. This poor little fellow has survived untold horrors in his short life and has a scar to prove it. It goes across his chest and criss crosses across his back. You can only see on his back his fur grows a funny way where the scar is , the scar is more obvious on his chest but not unsightly and will likely become fainter as he grows. Despite his previous lack of care and cruelty he is just such an adorable beautiful natured boy. I sit with him and rub his belly and he lays or sits beside me and just soaks it all up. I have had him in the house with me for portions of the day and he's very well behaved for such a young puppy. Sometimes i will have to go looking for him and find him asleep in the laundry basket lol. Mostly he stays by my feet. Timmy is special baby who deserves a loving forever home who will treasure him untill the end of his days. Could you be his special person?

Pookie
Female Cross Breed -

Picture Coming Soon
Picture Coming Soon

Pookie is the most outgoing puppy in her litter. She's playful and loves to run with the big dogs in her yard. She's the first to respond when called and she just loves other dogs. She would be a great second dog, or as an only dog provided she had adequate time with her human family and stimulation ect. Pookie loves being patted and like all of her siblings she is good around children. She's a funny little chook allways with an inquisitive expression on her face and ever ready for cuddles. We are unsure as to what her breed mix but are told her mum was a red cattle dog (posibly x) so it's difficult to say how big she will grow. She does not have heavy bone structure so she shouldn't grow to be a large dog.

He is currently being used as a pleasure horse, however he needs an experienced rider with lots of time to retrain him and help him understand or is best suited to being a companion horse. No beginners or kids. He has a unique temperament that needs a capable person to understand and handle him.He can be used as a lead line horse but can not be ridden independently by kids. Jake does not have long left, so if you are a capable person who is in a position to give him a good retirement home, please don't hesitate to call or email at any time.

Olivia is an amazing pup. Brave and adaptable she loves to play and hang out with her older foster brothers (cattle crosses) and is very keen to learn the ropes from them. She comes when her name is called and responds to whistles. She is great off lead, very happy to explore but always checks where you and the other dogs are, and rounds them up if they leave the flock. She is happy to sleep anywhere, enjoys her food and doesn't mind getting wet near the creek. Olivia also settles nicely inside.
