It's November, and the year still isn't over

So this is the way it has gone. In March I left a less than satisfactory job working as a technical support consultant for an even lesser than satisfactory company. Then two weeks later; April the fifteenth I was involved in a serious car accident which broke my back. All the while as I lay recuperating there was a long ongoing body corporate dispute being caused by a deranged neighbor. September my grandfather passed away. Later in the same month my wife's car was destroyed by an out-of-control Porsche when parked outside her aunt's house when trying to do a good turn by picking her up for a family function. (So much for good turns!). October spawned a monster in the shape of a neighbor from hell. Police visits and council warnings upon the neighborhood threat. It's now November, a new job to start (hopefully), a magistrate court appearance next month, and the year still isn't over. ________________________________________________ The only lucky outcome so far (as well as making a full recovery from my accident) was being accepted in 2006 for the Diploma of Arts in Professional Writing and Editing. It is part-time and will take me years to complete, though I do not care, because for the first time I will truly be doing something that I love. ________________________________________________ If you are a regular reader of this online journal you will know one of my greatest loves is photography. As a "Cheer-up Digger" present to myself I bought a stylish semipro digital camera.
The quality and technology of this little wide angle marvel is dazzling. Eight huge megapixels and a superb lens make for very sharp, high resolution images. Mind you, as a purist, I still think digital photography has a long way to go, but it is getting there. Now that I am able to ride my bike again, I can put the camera in my gay little attache' bag, sling it over my shoulder and trundle over the flatlands of Melbourne town. Here are some of the results so far.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Bloody huge and creepy Victorian Mansion In South Road Brighton (click all photos for a better look see)
Mother Mary comes to me I want it all Mummy ! ________________________________________________ It's funny how events in life can affect you. The strange thing is, I am still the same person I was before the shit hit the fan in 2005. There has been one change and that's the acceptance of life and it's calamities. I was woe begotten before, but no longer. I opened a library book yesterday and somebody had left a bookmark between it's pages. The bookmark had words cellotaped on, which read; "Love your neighbor as you love yourself" and on the other side; "...Love the lord God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength". I still have no real connection with God, and the harder I try the more remote he becomes. Maybe it's like the saying goes: "When the student is ready, the teacher will come"
