The Dental Practice was originally conducted in commercial premises in Military Road by Dr Hicks. Dr Richard Deakins took over the practice in the 1940's after returning from war service.

Since 1962 it has operated from the heritage-listed 1910 Federation style house on the corner of Wycombe Road and Yeo Street. In that year Dr Deakins and his partner Dr Richard Mountstephens set up practice above the medical practice of Dr Richard Finch.

Dr Christopher Gorman took over from Dr Deakins in 1988 and continued in partnership with Dr Mountstephens. At present Dr Christopher Gorman and Dr Michael Stolz run the practice in partnership.
