Joint Message from our Former Parish Priests

We, Fr Len Wholohan, the former Parish Priest of the old parish of St Francis Xavier’s Arncliffe, and Fr Frank Bendeich, the former Parish Priest of the old parish of St Joseph’s Rockdale, wish to congratulate our two former parishes on their combining to form one parish – Mary MacKillop, Rockdale City.

We are delighted the two communities are now united as one community to form the newest parish in the Archdiocese of Sydney.
We pray God will bless this new parish and its pastor, Fr Brendan Quirk.
May they walk safely under the patronage of Blessed Mary MacKillop.
May she continue to guide you all along the road to a blessed eternity as she has done so many years through the work of the Sisters of St Joseph.
