I met a woman called Rochelle
An Aboriginal Artist of the Yorta Yorta tribe.
I showed her my beautiful country house and land
And could not help but feeling strange.
"You must resent the white feller
for havin' taken all this land. You must hate him" I said.
She looked at me darkly and answered:
"We don't hate - but we never forget."

Yesterday I saw
a Chinese couple
crossing themselves
and saying grace
before eating a Big Mac
at McDonalds.
