OUR STORY
 Our
vineyard was first planted in November of 1995 with 1280 rootlings
of Pinot Noir. The following year 450 Chardonnay vines were planted.
Our first
harvest in 2000 produced 1/2 tonne of Pinot Noir grapes and 1/3
tonne of Chardonnay.
The 2001
harvest was an excellent crop and we decided to put our label
on the wine. The harvest yielded 4 tonnes of Pinot Noir and 1.5
tonnes of Chardonnay. The Chardonnay was bottled in December 2001
and the Pinot in June 2002.
Our grapes are
hand pruned and hand picked by the Pym family at the optimum time.
Maturation has been a mix of new and old French oak barrels.
The harvests of
2002 and 2003 were somewhat effected by the drought. However,
in 2004 we had a bumper crop of 12 tonnes. This will be made into
Rose, Chardonnay (unwooded and wooded) and Pinot Noir, a total
of 420 dozen.
Our 2002 Chardonnay
won a Bronze Medal at the Federation Square Victorian Wine Region
Showcase held in June, 2004. The Chardonnay also won first place
in the "People's Choice" for white wines.
