Welcome to Myriddan Himalayan Persians & Exotic Shorthairs  I am a small and very select caring hobby cattery, situated North of Brisbane,
Queensland, Australia.
The Myriddan prefix was first accepted in 1967 by the Canine Control Council of
Queensland; at that time I bred Pembrooke Corgi's and did so for many years. In
1986 I was privileged to have the same Prefix, Myriddan accept by the Feline
Control Council, it was at that time I bought my first male, a blue carrier of
the Himalayan gene. I then invested in a blue point girl and tortoiseshell
solid girl, and that was the start of my breeding program, since then I have
introduced a black spotted tabby and a seal tabby point Himalayan, who between
them produced many top show winners, all tabby carriers of the Himalayan gene.  In 2001 I bred my first Exotic, a black classic tabby, who is producing some
amazing kittens, both Persian and Exotic, Himalayans and carriers. I now have a lilac tabby point Himalayan male, who is also producing some very
