North Albury Fire Brigade

 North Albury Fire Brigade, station number 206 is located in North Albury, NSW Australia. (MAP) The station has been operational since 1969.

206 station is one of three NSW Fire Brigade stations in the city of Albury. 206 station is responsible for the fire protection of approx 75Km sq within the city of Albury.

206 station is classed as a retained fire station, it is not manned 24/7. When there is a fire within the fire district, fire fighters are paged, they then attend the station and respond to the incident. All fire fighters are employed full time by their respective employers and receive a retainer and salary from the NSW Fire Brigade for their attendance to incidents and training drills.

Currently in 2007, we have attended 90 incidents.

In the calendar year of 200, 206 station attended 360 incidents. These varied from:

Bush fires

Motor Vehicle Accidents

Property Fires

Hazmat Incidents

Automatic Fire Alarms.

206 station has 17 Fire Fighters and 2 Appliances.

Fire fighters from 206 station also attended incidents outside of Albury, these included Corowa, Culcairn, Holbrook and Sydney.
