First, let me introduce myself. My name is Penny Gordon. Born and bred in Goulburn NSW, I now live in Canberra. This is my
third time around living here.
After I finished high school, I spent three years studying at Canberra College of Advanced Education. After I finished there,
I worked for a bank (but don't ask me "Which Bank?") for 11 years. During this time, I moved around a little through southern NSW
and the ACT, commencing in Goulburn, transferring to Canberra, working my way down the South Coast, and returning to Canberra.

After leaving the bank, I did what a lot of other Canberrans have done before me. I joined the Public Service. And there I still
am. For 8 years I worked in an agency called ComSuper, which deals with superannuation. For the last 12 months, I have worked at Centrelink as a Business Analyst.
I still have strong ties to Goulburn, and I return home on a regular basis.
My interests include genealogy, cross stitch, cooking, gardening (when I have the time), tennis, web design and reading. I am the proud owner
of a mischievous dog named Georgie. I am a keen Newcastle Knights supporter (Rugby League for the
uninitiated). Unfortunately, I only get to see them play once a year, when they play in Canberra.
