COMMUNITY BROADCASTING STATIONS IN WESTERN AUSTRALIA

Access 31

Access 31 provides a full-powered community television service to Perth and surrounding regions from premises located on the busy Great Eastern Highway, Belmont.

The station's signal is microwave linked to a 15kW transmitter at Bickley.

On-air since June 1999, Access 31 prides itself on showcasing local programs, local talent and local events.

Programs produced and presented by Access 31's volunteers deliver an alternative to Perth's mainstream free-to-air television services.

With a viewing audience in excess of 270,000 people each week, Access 31 provides unique community access opportunities, including industry training and work experience.

Opportunities exist to extend Access 31's signal into regional Western Australia through Westlink.

More information, contact details and a downloadable program guide are available from the Access 31 website at www.accesstvwa.com
