The Funky Bugs is a highly interactive, entertaining and educational live performance. Custom designed shows, to suit audencies of all ages and occasions, are available and can be easily tailored to suit your needs. Shows currently available include:

- General Public Performance

Performances generally take the form of a 45 minute concert, where an original musical backing is used to present character voices, sound effects and original songs, which cover a variety of educational themes and /or have a focus on fun and movement. These themes are reinforced by hand-in-mouth, insect style puppets (The Funky Bugs), which are operated by the sole performer in the show and the proprietor of The Funky Bugs, Pete Raudaschl.

With 10 years classroom experience as a primary school teacher, Pete is very familiar on how to connect with older audiences as well as use the experience of hundreds of early childhood performances to keep younger children entertained.

With over 1000 performances, the Funky Bugs' show has become a favourite in preschools and primary schools all around Australia.

The Funky Bugs are accredited as an authorised act by the New South Wales Department of Education and Training. They write -        

"This vibrant, high energy performance engages students with catchy original songs, dancing, puppetry, magic and humour. Through this interactive presentation, concepts such as road safety, literacy, numeracy, hygiene, manners and conservation are introduced and reinforced. A fun-filled, entertaining and educational performance for all"

The Funky Bugs have also performed at numerous private functions, corporate events and public arenas such as fetes, town halls and shopping centres. Availability for these performances is strictly limited.
