God's Heartbeat

No matter how close to or how far from God we feel, He always desires to be closer to us. As we get closer to God, we soon realise that God's heartbeat is that we will help to lead others to Him.
What is your heartbeat? If you answered leading people to Christ, then go on to the next article. If you answered something totally unrelated to anything to do with God, then you need to sit down and re-evaluate what is dear to you and what it may cost you.
My heartbeat is probably my children and music, but both of these things I can relate to God. I want to grow my kids God's way and hopefully they will lead Christian lives and have an impact on future generations. Anyone who knows me knows how much I love music, all my life. However, now I mostly listen to Christian music and if I ever had the chance to sing professionally, it would be Christian music as well.
Does what you do add to yourself or does it add to God and his Kingdom? If you are adding to His Kingdom, you are listening to God's heartbeat. If not, perhaps it’s time to stop and reflect. |
