Barbara Hornung grew up on a farm in a large musical family. Early musical experiences included rising early everyday to practise String Quartets with her father and siblings. She studied in Adelaide at the Elder Conservatorium and later at the Haag Conservatorium and has performed in many different countries. Some of the orchestras she has played in are the Adelaide Symphony, The Haag Residentie Orchestra and Orchestra Victoria. Presently Barbara is teaching at Grimwade and Beth Rivkah Ladies College. |
