An up-beat band of two girls and a guy
celebrating the true spirit of Rock'n'Roll

"Heard your songs, they are cool and fun."  Arturo Vega, Ramones art-director

"Playing lots of covers from Ramones and Ronettes in a very good way.
They are just so fantastic!!"   Toshi 8-Beat, Mach Pelican

"Your band sounds cool."   Ronnie Spector

"En perpetuant avec passion l'esprit des Ramones, elles possedent en elles la  fraicheur et la magie ... Ramonettes n'est pas un gag (elles sont) authentique et  sincere."   Rock Hardi

Suzy Ramone (guitar & vocals), Andy Bunney (ex-Exploding White Mice, drums & vocals) & 20 year-old Shannon R (bass guitar) authentically reproduce the exciting, pulsating, pop style of New York Rock'n'Roll Hall of Famers, the Ramones, playing all their fun hits including "Sheena is a Punk Rocker", "Rock'n'Roll High School",  "Rockaway Beach", "Blitzkrieg Bop" and "I Wanna Be Sedated". The Ramonettes also mix in original songs and ones by The Ronettes, Blondie, Motorhead, Tom Waits and more.

"If you loved the Ramones, you'll love the Ramonettes !"

The Ramonettes from Australia are dedicated Ramones fans, who've been DIY touring and film-making worldwide since Joey's tragic death in 2001. Guitarist Suzy Ramone changed her name legally in 1979; teenager Shannon Ramonette channels Dee Dee, & drummer Andy Bunney played in the legendary "Exploding White Mice" who supported the Ramones twice.

"The fun-loving 3-piece keep the true spirit of Rock'n'Roll live
- playing heartfelt, classic Ramones in concert."

Founded in 2001 in Adelaide, the Ramonettes won friends with extensive tours in 2004 & 2006 of Japan, France, Italy, Spain, Basque, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland, Serbia and Montenegro, Croatia, Slovenia & Kosovo. They were invited guests at the 5th & 6th Annual Ramone-a-thon Live! festivals in Brisbane, Queensland.

The Ramonettes were invited to perform at the launch of the feature film "End of the Century" in Milan (Italy) and in Melbourne & Adelaide (Australia). They also performed at the launch of "Punk's not Dead" in Cannes, France.
