Bookings

Types of Booking

Bookings may be made as confirmed bookings or as tentative ("pencilled in") bookings.

A confirmed booking for time guarantees provision of the service requested.

A tentative booking does not guarantee provision of service; a confirmed booking for the same dates will take precedence.

If two or more tentative bookings are received, the first will take precedence and the second and subsequent ones will be waitlisted. If a confirmed booking and tentative bookings clash, the tentative booking will be waitlisted.

Cancellation Policy and Charges

Any booking may be cancelled by email or telephone notification. The following cancellation fees will apply.

Confirmed Booking

More than 14 days' notice (or 10 business days, whichever is the greater): no fee

More than 5 business days' notice: 10% of the chargeable fee

Less than 5 business days' notice: 50% of the chargeable fee

Tentative Booking

More than 5 business days' notice: no fee

More than 2 business days' notice: 10% of the chargeable fee

Less than 2 business days' notice: 25% of the chargeable fee

Travel

If travel is required it is at the hirer's expense. Any air travel exceeding five hours duration shall be booked in at least business class.
