Nepenthes lowii x truncata: a hybrid of a highland and lowland form that I had purchased from Geoff and Andrea Mansell, the owners of Exotica Plants in Queensland on the 04/09/2003. The picture represents a recently formed pitcher on the 05/12/2003. It is growing nicely in highland conditions at a temperature range of 14 degrees celcius at night - 40 degrees celcius during the day. Welcome to my website dedicated to Carnivorous Plants. My name is Christian and I am from Melbourne, Australia. Like others, I started off with a venus fly trap bought from a KMART store. It has only been in the last five years that I have become serious about growing these plants.
Amorphophallus titanum: I finally got one! To the left is a photo taken on 07/12/2003 showing the second stalk growth and irregular growing habits of this amazing genus. I received this as a seedling on the 20/06/2003 which was considerably smaller than the shortest stalk. It is growing in intermediate to highland conditions and high humidity.
