Copeton Dam

This is a huge facility located 48 Km south west of Inverell NSW.

Copeton Dam is almost 3 times the size of Sydney Harbour when full and is surrounded by recreation areas.

There no vehicle accessibility problems at all. 

There are hundreds of sites including powered ones at several locations on the edge of this lake.

This really is a great location especially for those who prefers a more than the relative seclusion of a State Forest. 

There are all the facilities you would expect including a well stocked kiosk.

Since it can be quite busy over Christmas and Easter holiday periods, this time is best avoided.
