Mt Franklin

Mt Franklin is a short term camp site / rest area located approximately 12 Km north of Daylesford heading towards Castlemaine.

There are no vehicular access problems at all.

This is a very pleasant spot we make a point of staying at for a couple of days when in the area. 

There is plenty of reasonably flat camping area with bbq / fireplaces, toilets and non-potable water.

Photo above was taken in January showing the shady conditions provided by the deciduous trees.   By contrast, the photo on the right was taken in mid autumn.
