This is good web site devoted to the wonderful Keeshond and we loved the

Morse Code For a bit of nostalgia, click here to listen to short message in Morse code. Opera & Internet Explorer browsers only.
This
web site is for all Caravan, Campervan and Motorhomers, particularly
those who wish to be independent of formal camping areas, for a while at
least.
Maybe you want to keep the costs down or
maybe, like us, it is also because you travel with your dog.
In fact, the sole reason for starting
this web site in the first place was the problem
of where we could go with our dog and sharing this information with
others.
I have now discontinued this segment, mainly because many other web
sites cover this better than I can afford the time to do.
It will also cover how to make your
caravan, campervan, motorhome or
trailer-camper into a self-sufficient unit so that you can have
that independence with some emphasis on things electrical.
This web site is maintained and upgraded as frequently as time permits
and has no commercial links with any person or organization.
Neither
do I receive any kick backs in any form from any manufacturers or
suppliers that may be mentioned on the web site (unfortunately :)
This is an information only web site, we are not trying to $ell you
anything.
The aim is to make these pages as interesting and informative as possible and your input
will be welcomed.
I
hope this site may contribute to encouraging you getting out and
exploring (with your dog of course). You can travel for years and you will still only
see a small fraction of this vast wonderful country.
This
site covers places to go, both destinations and stop over locations,
where you can take your four legged family member.
Only dog friendly sites will be described here.
You are invited to contribute your favourite spots and they will be
added to the list.
We hope you find something useful or interesting here,
best wishes from Ray & Chris.

And now for something
completely different . . .
Home Brew
For a really great beer, something you can taste as opposed to a bland
watery "beer", visit your local home brew shop and get yourself a
home brew kit such as a Morgan's or Coopers. You'll
find it very hard to go back to commercially brewed beer. More

worth a special mention.
We
have just returned from our latest trip (Sept 09) once again we
have been fortunate to have met several interesting people, none
more so then Bob Sargeant.
Bob is fascinating character having spent 21 years travelling
about the country with his partner Dawn in a camel drawn wagon /
caravan.
Bob and Dawn have put down roots near Ashford NSW these days but
we were luck enough to have encountered Bob with one of his
wagons while grazing his camels a few km from
home.
I couldn't resist the temptation to stop
for a chat and a couple of photos.
In the course of the chat, I suggested that he should write a book
detailing his experiences to which he replied that several years
ago he did but "no bugger was interested in publishing
it". My initial reaction was maybe it was too short or
not well written.
He has written two books and fortunately put them both on a single
CD in a pdf format. He was
kind enough to arrange for me to pick up a copy from home where I
met his amiable partner Dawn.
To say that I was surprised with his books is an understatement,
although I am certainly no literary critic, to me they are well written, entertaining, informative and humorous.
What a pity they will probably never be published - in book form at least.
If anyone is interested in an electronic pdf copy of Bob's books
as a download (a CD is an option for Aust residents if for some
reason you can't receive a download), you can contact Bob at 0427 228 079
or if that fails, send me an email and I will pass this
on to Bob.
Bob has two books, "How Far Can You Go I A Day " and
"There's Some Humps On The Track", a total of 357 pages
and approx 244,000 words with photos and illustrations.
Bob has set a modest price of A$20-00 for both by way of a money
order or for a CD, $20-00 plus $5-00 postage and handling.
(This does seem to be in conflict with my above statement that
I
are not trying to $ell you anything but I believe this is a worthy
exception and besides, I have no financial interest in the
outcome.)
