Diesel is well known to many people in the RR world both here in Australia and overseas. He was known for his superb temperament, excellent hunting and lure coursing skills and his great conformation.  Diesel's full sister is  BISS Ch Rijstone Buyani

He never liked the show ring much so was shown sparingly but nevertheless did well winning Best in Groups at All Breed Level, RUBIS at Canberra Specialty, Sire & Progeny winner on several occasions including 1996 National Show, Best Ridge, Best Gait, and Best Owner/Bred/Handled at ridgeback specialities.
 

Unfortunately we lost Diesel just before 7 years of age to a tumour in the heart, and no this is not hereditary.  He died very suddenly and way too soon for such a special dog.   I still have some semen available from him which I hope to use one day on the right girl.
